David Cregan – Woman and Scarecrow

Today’s podcast features David Cregan, director of the Villanova Theatre production of “Woman and Scarecrow”, written by Marina Carr. Stay Tuned!

A woman on her deathbed faces the regrets of a life half-lived in this fierce and funny play by Ireland’s leading female playwright. At once theatrical and richly poetic, Woman and Scarecrow stages an epic confrontation between a mother of eight and the specters of her haunted past. Lauded by critics as “powerful,” “moving,” and “lyrical,” Marina Carr’s spirited script is less about the loss of life than it is about the power and profundity of our time here on earth. Don’t miss this Philadelphia-area premiere!

ABOUT NAKED FEET PRODUCTIONS

Naked Feet is committed to creating original works and recreating old works which deconstruct our mythology, figuratively and literally. Naked Feet challenges who we are in regards to the expectations put upon us by ourselves, our religion and our culture. Still staying true to the concepts that fostered her, Naked Feet uses clown, physical theatre, voice and heart to tell her stories.
